Horse Show Schedule
The 2015 Touchstone Farm horse show series has expanded from two shows to four. Our 2015 show dates are:
Expanding our series enables us to:
- Add an open ring with equitation and pleasure classes for different disciplines and all levels of riding (May & October)
- Add a Horse Power division to the Spring and Fall shows so that riders in therapeutic riding programs can compete (May & October)
- Add a Fall Fuzzy fun show that includes games and costume classes in the new open ring (October)
One very special addition to the series is the Corporal Brandon Garabrant Memorial Equitation Challenge. Cpl. Garabrant was a US Marine who also worked for Touchstone Farm, and held many roles in our surrounding community, including that of a Volunteer Firefighter and Police Explorer. Brandon was a dear friend to the farm before he was killed in action in Afghanistan in 2014.
We will be running a class in Brandon’s honor at each show in the season. At our Fall Fuzzy show, the highest point winners in this class will receive awards. The Champion will receive the perpetual trophy for one year’s time and their name is engraved on it.
Touchstone Farm will donate $5 from every entry in this class throughout the season to the CPL Brandon Garabrant Memorial Scholarship Fund at Conval High School in Peterborough, NH, of which Brandon was a graduate.
