Looking for Pony Farm Camp Horses, Summer 2014

Attention Horse Owners!

TSFPeterPan.jpgTouchstone Farm is beginning to recruit horses and ponies for the 2014 season of Pony Farm Summer Camp. If you have a quiet, serviceably sound equine looking for a summer job, this could be a great fit.

What We're Looking For

We need horses and ponies suitable for beginners through jumping courses. Your horse must have good barn manners and be able to ride in a group with others.

What Your Horse Will Do

PFjumpingclass.jpgCamp involves a structured program during which qualified staff and instructors teach and supervise all lessons and equine activities such as vaulting, trail rides, and gymkhana.

Horses who jump do so a maximum of 3 times per week. Daily morning lessons, occasional light afternoon activities (such as a bareback or trail ride), and sometimes a weekly horse show make up each session.

What We Provide

PFhorselove.jpgTouchstone Farm provides board and farrier services during the horse's stay at no cost to the owner.

Horses get huge amounts of love and attention from the camper assigned to them each session.

Horses always get Sundays off.

Consignment Horses Welcome

PFafternoonhorses.jpgAre you trying to sell your horse or pony? We can help with that, too! We take horses and ponies on consignment and make them available to campers who may be looking to buy.

Who Ya Going to Call?

If you have a horse or pony who could work for this program, please contact Andrea Oxier, Equine Manager at Touchstone Farm, at 603-654-6308 or email her at asnow@touchstone-farm.org.
