A Day in the Life of a Camper
7:30 am Wake up and get ready for the day!
8:30 am Breakfast
9:15 am Head to TSF and start morning chores! Bring horses in from fields, feed, hay, water, clean stalls and other morning barn chores
10:00 am Groom, tack up horses, riding lesson – On average, lesson groups have four riders, grouped by ability and goals. Senior Staff and Counselors in Training work with each group.
12:30 pm Lunch & Rest time – hang out in the shade!
1:30 pm Afternoon Activities – No two days or weeks are alike. Campers in each session make a wish list of what they’d like to do at camp. We do our best to tailor the session to their wishes.
4:00 pm Grain horses and snack time for campers!
4:30 pm Turn out horses in fields and evening barn chores
5:30 pm Head back to BCH Center
6:00 pm Dinner
6:45 pm Shower & Free time!
7:15 pm Evening Activity
8:30 pm Goodnight Circle and Songs
9:15pm Lights Out
9:30 pm All Quiet
